Edward M Ernat

I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in the spring of 2020 with a B.S. in Agronomy as well as a minor in Precision Agriculture and a certification in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). While attending NWMSU, I conducted a small observational study on Bean Leaf Beetles overwintering habits and mortality. I am now pursuing a masters degree in Plant Pathology here at Iowa State University and my research project covers the risk evaluation for Sudden Death Syndrome of soybeans. My goal is to obtain a career in plant research that emphasizes plant pathology, entomology, and integrated pest management (IPM).
