Jacqueline Pohl joined the North Central IPM Center in 2020 to manage Center communications, including the Central Issue newsletter, the Center's website, LinkedIn and Twitter (@ncipmc). Jacque enjoys learning about science and sharing information and resources with people who can use them.

Jacque graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. degree in English and Biology in 2006. Her communication background includes design, writing, editing, photography, web design, video, and marketing, including social media marketing. She spent five years editing scientific content for the Journal of Soil and Water Conservation at the Soil and Water Conservation Society. In 2011, Jacque was hired as a communication specialist to improve communication materials and strategies for the Intensive English and Orientation Program, which is part of the English Department here at Iowa State. Jacque Pohl joined the Entomology Department in 2016 to coordinate creation of the Iowa Pest Resistance Management Plan and implementation of four pilot projects. In the same role, Jacque supported the Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium and coordinated working groups to create the Iowa Monarch Conservation Strategy and expand Iowa monarch conservation efforts.
