Keaton Hewitt joined the North Central IPM Center and Crop Protection Network in 2022 as a graphic designer. His position entails the creation of original digital assets for visual marketing media, brand identity, and illustrations for publications, field use, print, and digital media. Additionally, Keaton consults on overall marketing strategies and tasks and helps to present scientific resources in a palatable and visually appealing manner.

Keaton graduated from Iowa State University in the Spring of 2022 with a B.S. in Marketing. Keaton has an extensive background in fine arts, which paved the way for the beginning of his career in graphic design. As an undergrad, he worked several freelance positions, creating logos, websites, branding assets, and social media marketing posts/campaigns. In December of 2021, Keaton joined the Iowa State University IPM team. There he has made infographics, rating sheets for foliar grape diseases, logos, illustrations for phytopoetry, t-shirt designs for the Crop Scouting Competition and American Physiological Society, and more.
