My research evaluates the impact of vector-plant and plant-vector transmission events, as well as aggregative beetle feeding, on genetic variation within pathogen populations; maps patterns of genomic variation in wild pathogen populations in plants and beetles in the field, including during beetle overwintering; and characterizes the impact of phages on pathogen-plant-beetle interactions.
